Bake tables, party bags and biscuit activities that survive contact with actual children.
Volunteered at pickup? Here is the week-by-week plan for a school bake sale: recruiting bakers who actually turn up, allergen labelling that keeps everyone safe, how much float to bring, and a table layout that sells out in forty minutes.
Two per toddler, three to four per older child, one more for the party bag. A quantity chart by age and party length, a worked example for a party of twenty, and what to do with the inevitable leftovers.
What actually sells out at a school or nursery bake sale: shapes children recognise from three tables away, individual wrapping, coin-friendly prices, allergy labels that hold up, and a per-batch sum that tells you whether the afternoon paid.
